The last few days, I haven’t really shown up for myself. I’ve veered off the path I’ve been so intentional about staying on—mentally, emotionally, and even creatively. It’s crazy how quickly a few off days can make you feel like you’ve lost your rhythm, like you’ve drifted away from who you’re trying to become.
But the truth is, life happens. Emotions get heavy. Some days, it’s hard to keep pushing forward, especially when disappointment sneaks in again. Month after month, I find myself hoping—wishing—this would finally be the month we conceive. And when it’s not, it hits deep. It’s a mix of sadness, frustration, and exhaustion that’s hard to explain unless you’ve lived it. Those days make consistency feel nearly impossible.
Yet here I am, getting back to it, because deep down, I know I don’t want to give up on myself or my dreams—no matter how hard the days get.
I want to be excited again for all the little things this month holds: the change in the air, the cozy October nights, the spooky season vibes that always make me feel inspired and alive. I want to wake up and pour into my goals with the same fire I had when I first started blogging—when I promised myself I’d give it 110%, no matter how long it takes to see results.
Blogging has always been more than just sharing my thoughts online—it’s been my outlet, my creative escape, and my reminder that there’s beauty in showing up, even when life feels messy. It’s about being real, connecting, and maybe even helping someone else who’s walking through a season that feels uncertain too.
Through it all, I’m so incredibly lucky to have the husband I do. He supports me through every high and low, even when I’m not the easiest person to love. When I shut down or get lost in my own frustration, he’s there with patience, with understanding, and with the kind of quiet love that reminds me I’m not walking this road alone.
Consistency isn’t about being perfect—it’s about coming back to yourself, again and again, no matter how many times you wander. It’s about choosing to keep going, to keep dreaming, and to keep believing that even the hard seasons are shaping you into something stronger, softer, and more grounded.
So, here’s to finding my rhythm again. To showing up for myself. To staying consistent through the tears, the doubt, and the in-between days.
And to remembering that even when it’s hard, especially when it’s hard, there’s still magic in the journey.
With Love,
Kait M.
