Falling for Fall: A Love Letter to Pumpkin Season šŸŽƒšŸ‚

Hi Friends,

It’s here! The moment my soul has been waiting for all year. It’s the month for Fall to begin!…. Unfortunately, I live in Florida and there really isn’t a fall season around here.

I don’t care if it’s still technically 80 degrees outside—if the Pumpkin Spice Latte’s back, then I declare fall has begun! I am, after all, a Fall Girly. That means I live for cozy candles, Spooky movies, and all the fall smells! (From candles and incense of course, remember we are still in Florida) I refuse to apologize for buying tiny decorative pumpkins in bulk like they’re going out of style.

Everything is Pumpkin Now, and I Love It šŸŽƒāœØ

Is it too much? Probably. Do I care? Absolutely not. Because there’s no such thing as ā€œtoo much pumpkin.ā€

Here’s the thing: fall has this magical ability to turn us all into warm-beverage philosophers. Suddenly, we’re romanticizing trips to the farmer’s market, buying cinnamon brooms for our kitchens, and posting moody ā€œfoggy morningā€ pictures like we’re the main character in a Hallmark movie.

But the best part? Pumpkin everything. Pumpkin bread, pumpkin candles, pumpkin patches, pumpkin dog costumes. If it has even the faintest whisper of pumpkin in it, I’m buying it.

Pumpkin Muffins That Taste Like a Hug šŸ‚šŸ§

Okay, okay—let’s talk food. Because while the lattes and candles are fabulous, nothing screams ā€œcozy fall morningsā€ like baking pumpkin muffins. These are soft, spiced, and make your kitchen smell like Martha Stewart and Joanna Gaines had a fall-themed bake-off.

Here’s my go-to Pumpkin Muffin Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar (or brown sugar if you’re feeling extra cozy)

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (plus a little sprinkle for good luck)

1 cup canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling!)

2 large eggs

½ cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)

¼ cup milk (any kind you like)

1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional add-ins: chocolate chips, chopped pecans, or even a cream cheese swirl if you’re feeling fancy.

You can also sub out half the flour with your favorite vanilla protein. That’s how Hubby likes it. šŸ˜‰

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line your muffin tin with cute fall-themed liners (bonus points if they have little pumpkins on them).

2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.

3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla.

4. Slowly combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed (don’t over-stir, or you’ll make the muffin gods angry).

5. Fold in any add-ins (I vote chocolate chips, because chocolate makes everything better).

6. Divide batter evenly into muffin tin and bake for 20–22 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.

7. Let cool slightly, then eat while wrapped in a blanket with a candle burning nearby for maximum fall energy.

Final Thoughts šŸ

Fall is more than a season—it’s a vibe. It’s about cozy mornings, crunchy leaves, oversized sweatshirts, and unapologetically embracing all things pumpkin. If you’re a Fall Girly like me, you already know the joy of lighting that first pumpkin spice candle and sipping your PSL like it’s liquid gold.

So go ahead—bake those muffins, decorate with way too many gourds, and take that walk just to step on crunchy leaves. This is our season, and it only comes once a year.

Happy Fall, babes! šŸ‚šŸŽƒšŸ’›

With Love
